PUBLIC EDUCATION
One of the Department's highest priorities is providing Public Fire Safety Education throughout the county. You may have seen us at your child's school, at a birthday party or at a grand opening or other event. It is through these occasions that the department promotes fire safety education to the children, adults, and senior citizens of this county. The Division of Fire Prevention is responsible for coordinating these events throughout the year. Included among the many public relations and education services provided are: Fire Safety talks and fire engine demonstrations for children, Mother's Day Out programs, Fire safety in the home presentations for adults, fire station tours, and grand opening appearances. If you would like the Squad to come to your school, work, business, or other special event, use the online form below and request to schedule a public education event.

*Please note that we will do our best to fulfill your request, but emergency calls are our priority! We may not be able to attend if an emergency arises.We will do our best to communicate with you if this occurs.
Only requests submitted 10 days prior to the event will be considered. We are an all volunteer organization so schedules must be rearranged to fulfill requests! Also, time and date requests must be solidified when making a request. We cannot accommodate changes once the request is made unless it is 10 days later.
We will confirm if we can attend your event within 4 days of the event or sooner!
