The work horse of the Rescue Squad, Rescue Company 12 is the department's Heavy Rescue Company.  This truck was purchased in 1989 and custom built by Spartan Fire Apparatus.  It is powered by a Detriot Diesel motor.  This unit is the primary Rescue vehicle for station 14 as well as for the rest of the department's districts.  Rescue Co. 12 also responds, under automatic mutual aid, to several other county fire jurisdictions for vehicle extrications.  Rescue Co. 12 is capable of delivering 6 personnel and a full complement of HURST hydraulic vehicle extrication tools.  In addition, this truck carries dual (engineer/officer side) electric HURST hydraulic generators with preconnected hydraulic reels, a portable gas powered hydraulic generator with hoses, rope rescue and confined space rescue equipment, swiftwater rescue equipment, a six bottle mobile cascade system for filling SCBA bottles, a powerful light mast capable of delivering scene lighting to night time operations, additional hand tools and powered equipment for suppression operations, and much more.

Engine 20

E- 20 is an E-ONE Custom chassis pumper with a Hale 1250 GPM pump.  E-20 is the first out attack pumper for station 14 in downtown Franklin.

 



Engine 23
Engine 23 is a 1988 F.M.C. Pumper with a Hale 1250 GPM pump and 1000 Gallon capacity. Engine 23 serves as the second due Engine for station 14 as well as all other districts.

Brush 28
Brush 28 is a 2005 Chevrolet 3500 4x4.  This truck is outiftted with a skid unit by Defender complete with a 350 GPM pump and 350 gallon tank.  Brush 28 is a the primary Brush/Wildland fire unit for station 14 as well as it is the first out unit for emergency medical response.

Engine 22
Engine 22 is a 2001 Crimson Fire Custom Chassis Rescue Pumper.  This Engine is equipped with a 2000 GPM Waterous pump.  Engine 22 also carries in its payload a complement of hydraulic extrication tools (a.k.a The Jaws of Life) to begin vehicle rescue operations.  Engine 22 is the first due attack pumper for the Grassland and surrounding communities and is also capable of responding to emergency medical calls.

Ladder 39

Ladder 39 is a 2006 Sutphen SL104 Aerial Ladder and is equipped with a 104' Aluminum Ladder.  This Ladder truck was the first aerial device purchased and placed in service by the Rescue Squad and Williamson County.  This unit responds to all structure fires in the Squad jurisdiction as well as fire alarms.  This truck is stationed in the Grassland Community Station 22.  This truck was purchased with much assistance from the Grassland and surrounding communities.



Brush 29
Brush 29 is a Chevy Silverado 3500 equipped with a skid unit and is housed at Station 22. Brush 29 is the first out unit for all brush fires and medical calls for District 22.
