The Williamson County Rescue Squad was established in 1966 by the Williamson County CB Club and started off with a converted school bus and a boat. The organization's primary job searches and rescue and body recovery. Over the past 40 years this department has grown to 4 stations and over 100 members and protects roughly 352 square miles of rural and suburban area made up of both residential and commercial in one of the Country's most affluent Counties.. The Williamson County Rescue Squad, Inc. receives some funding from Williamson County Government but relies mostly on donations from the citizens the department serves. This is also the department's 40 year anniversary and proud to have served and supported the local communities in our response area.
